Business Communications Consultant - Hardlines

Partners with senior management to develop and implement business level communication for the retail stores. Position is responsible for the monthly, weekly and daily delivery of clear, concise and actionable business information, using the appropraite communication vehicles and vehicle standards.

Qualifications
*Deliver clear, concise and prioritized communication to a business via the proper communication channels (MAP, Intranet, WAP, Printed materials/consolidated mail)
*Coach and train Home Office businesses/functions on the communication process
*Review all communication content to be sent to the stores and ensure it follows process specifications and channel standards. Work with businesses to revise communications to meet specifications
*Verifies with Store Operations that the projects outlined for execution in the MAP are scheduled on the Operations Calendar. In addition, reviews weekly action plans to ensure manageable store execution
*Proactively reviews help desk feedback, determines when a communication is needed to correct a situation, and provides solutions to improve future outbound communications. Works with help desk to quickly identify chain wide issues and distribute communication accordingly
*In conjunction with the businesses, provide business information to the help desk to facilitate first contact resolution of inbound communication issues
*Structure communications to simplify complex issues into easily understandable concepts and identify appropriate messaging for various audiences
*Follow through in a timely manner to both internal and external customers. Uses appropriate assertiveness to balance needs of business with the stores ability to execute
*Serves as a single point of contact to several businesses in collecting communication information. Works with other communication consultants to determine role specific communication
