Description:
QVC?s Merchandising Operations department has an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to become a Business Data Administrator at our Studio Park location.

Reporting to the Project Manager of Product Flow, this individual will maintain and administer the data tables within Merchandising systems including the purchase order systems, item creation system and product development system. Coordinates requests for changes to the data tables that drive these systems and gathers approvals from the corporate owners of each data table. The administrator is also accountable for the quality of data with the data tables that drive lists within merchandising systems. Create, develop and deliver training on the supported systems to end-users in Merchandising. The Business Data Administrator will also coordinate requests for changes to the data tables that drive these systems: Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, SAP and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software (such as Matrix-One). The Business Data Administrator will also support the creation and delivery of training documentation for some of these systems. This individual will interface with Merchandising, Design & Development, Quality Assurance departments and Information Technology.


Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor?s Degree in Logistics, Business or Industrial Engineering preferred or equivalent business experience
?Experience with SAP and Matrix-One preferred
?1-2 years experience working with maintaining a business system (ex: ERP, POMS or WMS) strongly preferred
?Proficiency in Word, Excel and Access required, Powerpoint experience preferred
?Good oral, written and telephone communication skills and interpersonal skills
?Ability to concentrate for moderate periods of time
?Ability to comprehend and apply complex information about processes and data
?Ability to operate general office equipment (fax machine, photocopier, computer printer stationed between three and four feet high)
?Ability to access information using automated systems for long periods of time
?Ability to handle multi tasks simultaneously
?Ability to quickly access/create information using spreadsheet and database tools
