We currently are looking for:

BUYER - WOMEN'S FASHION FOOTWEAR

Responsibilities:

Purchase women's better designer footwear opportunistically for T.J. Maxx and Marshalls

Travel domestically and internationally in order to execute the purchasing plan of quality, branded goods that represent an incredible value to our customers.

Analyze history and current business, in order to strategically forecast future opportunities.

Works closely with other Buyers, the Merchandise Manager, and the General Merchandise Manager.

Must have a minimum of five years buying experience

Experience buying high-end fashion footwear required

Knowledge and awareness of "hip fashion" trends required

Must have strong analytical, financial, strategic and planning skills.

Must have a proven record of strong negotiating skills, with examples to substantiate.

Must be a go-getter, with a "can-do attitude" and a true excitement for the business.

Entrepenerial minded, with a strong comfort of taking measurable risks.

Strong team playing, clear communication, and relationship building skills are very important in order to be successful in our business.
