Cashier - Versace

VERSACE, High-end, luxury European designer of exclusive apparel has an exciting career opportunity to join our dynamic retail staff in our prestigious flagship store on Fifth Avenue, NYC. We are currently seeking a highly motivated, experienced full time cashier. In this position, you will be responsible for all payment transactions for customers regarding the following duties:

Responsibilities:
? Receive and process all cash and credit card payments from customers
? Maintain daily records of all payment transactions
? Assist with other administrative duties as needed (reporting, record keeping, etc.)
Requirements:
? Previous experience operating a cash register
? Familiarity with processing credit card transactions
? Excellent customer service skills
? Professional appearance a must

Successful candidates must enjoy working directly with people, be extremely service oriented and able to follow established policies and procedures for point of sale transactions with a computerized register and clientele system.  Additional responsiblities include professionally gift boxing and processing customer purchases for takes and sends.  Must be flexible in working a 40 hour work week to include weekends.
