Recognized as the national leader in luxury cosmetics retailing and spa services, Bluemercury, Inc. is seeking a dynamic, experienced individual to support our national retail store roll-out.  With locations from Washington DC to Philadelphia to the outskirts of New York City, bluemercury brings expert, honest advice, world renowned spa treatments, and indulgent luxury beauty products to clients demanding high service and sophisticated information.

 

This position is responsible for maintaining bluemercury?s customer service philosophy at the store level and is responsible for client service and store revenue maximization. You will report to the regional manager and focus on ensuring that Bluemercury has a qualified, well-trained, high service workforce.  Responsibilities include:

 Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, deep product knowledge, and honest adviceDevelop and implement plans to maximize sales and meet or exceed goals and objectives Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures through regular store management, store walk-throughs, and auditsControl shrink, expenses, and payroll Ensure appropriate merchandise stock levels, merchandise presentations, and store cleanliness; ensure selling floor is adequately stocked and beautifully presentedCreate and run special in-store eventsContinually evaluate and manage performance challengesActively recruit and train new candidates

 

 

Qualifications include:3 years of leadership in the cosmetics industryExperience hiring and training a sales associate teamExperience as a hands-on leader who has an entrepreneurial spirit, is detail oriented, and is highly energeticA deep knowledge and understanding of all aspects of running a storeDemonstrated results in previous leadership positionsA proven ability to train and lead othersOutstanding communication skills:  verbal and listeningAbility to be adaptive in a dynamic, high-growth environmentCommitment to providing expert customer service, quality operations, and an unparalleled level of professionalismStrong organizational skills and conflict resolution skillsMust have flexible schedule and must be able to work Saturdays
