Responsibilities include: maximizing sales and gross margins through effective acquisitions, pricing and marketing of gold merchandise. Create and implement plans to maximize gross profit by coordinating sales, gross margin, inventory turn, cost of promotions, and markdowns. Maintain up-to-date assortments via analysis of test and discontinued merchandise.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of four years prior experience in gold buying domestically and internationally. Full understanding of gold costing, experience in sourcing and purchasing all categories of gold jewelry. Strong product knowledge and professional vendor relationships. Interpersonal and organizational skills. High degree of analytical and negotiating skills. Computer literate. College Degree, GIA certified or other related studies.
