Home Production Coordinator-Anthropologie (901)

Anthropologie's home production department is seeking a PRODUCTION COORDINATOR to join their Production team.

Objective: To follow product from inception to the approved product sample stage; ensuring all stages of development are done according to the production schedule to meet assigned deadlines. The key areas of responsibility include sourcing, calendar management, sample management, and relationship building with factories and internal partners and post production activities.

Sourcing: Manage sourcing and development process; including factory allocations and monitoring of the development calendar and line plans to ensure schedules are met.

Manage the Time and Action Process: Develop and maintain the time and action portion of the Work In Process (WIP). You will work closely with vendor's on target approval dates and turn around time of samples. You will also partner closely with design to ensure that the process continues to move on schedule.

Manage the RMR and understand cost components: Prepare target prices when appropriate and maintain library of historic pricing.

Samples: Order and track in all sales samples to ensure delivery is on time.

Relationship Management: Developing, maintaining and cultivating relationships with design, tech design, merchants and vendors.

Post Production: Manage the post production process and facilitate all necessary steps to insure that the product is delivered on time.

Job Skills: Technical knowledge of construction and raw materials used in the production of all areas of home decor.

Ability to determine final cost of goods

Knowledge of raw material development and sourcing

Problem solving and troubleshooting skills that allow for a proactive approach to the business

Computer skills

Organizational skills necessary to handle multiple tasks and projects and complete them within deadlines

Management and communication skills to effectively work with designers, merchants and vendors

Ability to visit a buying office or a factory and assess whether or not the facility has the necessary infrastructure and is capable of handling the Company?s development and production needs

Experience Required:
3-5 years of production experience. Must have experience with producing one of the following categories; tabletop, kitchen, furniture, home accents, lighting or hardware.
