Human Resource Assistant

We are currently seeking a Human Resource Assistant to join our Toys R Us team in the Fort Smith, AR location.

As the hiring professional within our Toys R Us store, you will be responsible for the recruitment, selection, training and development of our hourly staff. You will also be held accountable for the HR administration of our hourly associates, and assist the Store Director in promoting a fun work environment for our associates. Some additional job responsibilities will be assigned to you by the Store Director to help assist the store operate as effectively and efficiently as possible.

 

Qualified candidates will have the following:

* Minimum 6 months to 1 year experience in the HR/Retail field.

* Flexible work schedule to include nights and weekends.

* Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.

* Strong organizational skills.

* The ability to teach and train new associates.

* Strong customer service background

* Demonstrate the ability to handle/prioritize multiple projects.

* Understanding a selling culture is a plus!

* Recruiting experience a plus.

 

We desire a strong leadership background and an ability to have FUN in everything you do! Previous experience in retail is a plus.
