In-Store Marketing & Merchandising Rep for Sporting Goods Industry!

Our clients spend a lot of money and time developing new and innovative products for their target audiences.  Cleverly designed advertising programs and promotional materials get the new product 95% on its way to being successful.  Franklin Resource Group is hired to make sure that the product is 100% successful by getting that last 5%!  Our in-store representatives make sure that product is displayed creatively and logically and that the associates are familiar with the key selling features and benefits of the product so that the product moves.  Hence, We Create Sell-Through!

As an In-Store Marketing & Merchandising Representative for our vendors, you will execute the merchandising/marketing objectives of our high profile clients, while covering multiple retailers within a fixed territory.  You will be given assignments monthly and you schedule your own time.  This is a part-time, independent contractor opportunity.



RESPONSIBILITIESBe a Brand Ambassador!  Train sales associates to represent our client's products in the manner they deserve Establish strategic alliances within given retailers and develop relationships to the highest degree Gain prime retail positioning for our clients in stores Ensure products are on display and in proper location Execute basic in-store merchandising such as setting & dusting fixtures, straightening product to planogram, and changing signage

REQUIREMENTS1-2 years experience in retail merchandising, sales or management Experience reading and following POG Excellent verbal and written communication skills Reliable and insured vehicle Demonstrated Competence on personal computer & possession of computer with internet access (cable preferred) and the following software: Word, Excel, Adobe or acrobat Reader Digital Camera with date/time stamp feature Interest in the Sporting Goods, Outdoor, and Active Lifestyle industries
