THE OPPORTUNITY:
SCP Distributors currently has a need for an Inside Sales Associate for counter sales for our local branch. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated inside sales associate comfortable waiting on customers at the counter and on the phone selling industrial supplies and equipment to the trade. General knowledge of swimming pool supplies parts chemicals and pool construction a plus. Strong customer service and sales background computer and communications skills needed. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment dealing with inventory product allocations and customer issues.

REQUIREMETS:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Prior inside sales experience in a wholesale or warehouse setting;
- The ability to move 100 pounds;
- A strong phone "presence" and be comfortable dealing with customers on the phone;
- A strong customer-service attitude;
- A self-motivated and detail-oriented personality;
- Good computer skills;
- Familiarity with a related product line such as pool supplies parts chemicals or pool construction helpful.
