KEYHOLDER JOB DESCRIPTION


Accountability:
Reports to the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager. Responsible for assisting them in achieving store sales objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:
Provide prompt, courteous and efficient customer service.

Ensure all Associates follow the Relationship Selling Customer Service Program.

Operate equipment such as cash registers, calculators and various store displays.

Learn, retain and communicate product knowledge based on information provided verbally and in writing. Train Associates using the Product Knowledge materials found in the Training Manual.

Follow and enforce Company policies and procedures including but not limited to: Store opening and closing functions, cash handling, sales and refund procedures; merchandise handling; attendance policy and dress code policy.

Assist in training Associates on Company procedures using the materials found in the Training Manual.

Complete paperwork related to merchandise inventory, store assets and sales reports in a timely and accurate manner.

Delegate/perform routine cleaning and maintenance duties such as vacuuming, dusting and cleaning surfaces.

Stock shelves and displays with merchandise, including backroom storage. Supervise the completion of these duties as needed.

Demonstrate safety and loss prevention awareness in the supervision of store Associates.

Travel as needed for banking purposes.

Communicate in a professional, courteous and cooperative manner with customers, Associates, Supervisors and members of Management.

Perform all other job duties as assigned by Management.

Other Requirements:
Ability to communicate in writing and orally; read and write at the 12th grade level.

Knowledge of basic math functions such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing and calculating
percentages at the 12th grade level.

Ability to supervise Associates and delegate job duties as needed. Capable of providing on-the-job training to Associates as needed.

Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and certain holidays, based on store staffing needs. Set schedules and/or guaranteed hours are not available; schedules are subject to change based on business necessity.
