The Hajoca Corporation?s South Central Region (Operating Under The Trade Name Of The Plumbing Warehouse/LCR) and North Texas and South Texas Regions (Operating Under The Trade Names Of Moore Supply Company and Jahns Supply Company) Are Traditional Plumbing Supply Businesses, Located In Arkansas (2), Louisiana (13), Mississippi (1), And Texas (31).? These Businesses (Or Profit Centers) Are Engaged In Supplying Plumbing Product To Contractors, Retail Dealers, Industrial End-Users, And Assorted Niche Markets.? A Local Manager Directs Each Profit Center.

About the Opportunity

Under the Hajoca management philosophy, each location, called a 'Profit Center,' is run by its manager as a semi-independent business. The objective of?LCR-M's Management Training Program?is to select candidates who show promise of becoming effective Profit Center Managers, and to provide them with the knowledge and skills they need to achieve this goal.? The five-year program consists of:

?????????? INITIAL SIX MONTHS BUSINESS ORIENTATION

????????? 5 weeks in Warehouse (receiving, picking, and stocking merchandise)

????????? 3 weeks with Contractor customers

????????? 6 weeks in City (Counter) Sales

????????? 5 weeks at remote Profit Centers (complete overview of their operations)

????????? 2 weeks in Inside (Office) Sales

????????? 2 weeks in Showroom Sales

????????? 1 week in Commercial Sales

????????? 1 week in Field Sales

????????? 1 week of Administrative Office functions (Finance, Data Processing, Credit, Marketing, Purchasing)

????????? 7 academic assignments (including American Supply Association?s PHCP correspondence course)

????????? One-on-one product training with major vendor representatives

????????? Mentored by Profit Center Managers and Region Managers

?????????? FIRST PERMANENT ASSIGNMENT USUALLY IN INSIDE (OFFICE) SALES; THEN FIELD SALES

????????? Time frame depends on individual and Region need.? Ideal? period for this phase is 42 months.

?????????? PROMOTION TO PROFIT CENTER ASSISTANT MANAGER OR OPERATIONS MANAGER

????????? Time frame depends on individual and Region need.? Ideal period for this phase is 12 months.

????????? Continuing education at American Supply Association?s University of? Industrial Distribution at Purdue University
