JOB SUMMARY:
This position reports to the Manager, Loss Prevention, the Loss prevention Investigator will be responsible for investigations and compliance audits within the Retail Division, utilizing the Proact database to initiate theft investigations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Conducts employee theft investigations, interviews and surveillance Analyzes Proact exception reports and store media for evidence of theft Conducts retail compliance audits and loss prevention training Communicates and coordinates with local authorities and other outside agencies Testifies in court and unemployment hearings
REQUIREMENTS:Minimum 2 years related professional experience Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent from four-year college or University; or two years related experience an/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to read and interpret documents such as employment handbook, safety rules, and policies and procedures manuals Ability to write routine business correspondence Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest and percentages Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills Approximate 60-80% travel required, often with little advance notice; including air travel Must be physically capable of working in conditions normally associated with merchandise warehouse or distribution center, such as, but not limited to, warm and cold temperatures, seeing and hearing moving equipment to stay out of harms way, and continuous power equipment Must possess reliable transportation
