Lawn and Garden Buyer
Duckwall Alco Stores, Inc. a regional discount retailer located throughout the Midwest has an immediate opening for a Lawn and Garden Buyer at our corporate headquarters in Abilene Kansas. This is a high profile position that has volume responsibilities in excess of 22 million.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Minimum of five years buying experience in multi-store environment, with exposure buying horticulture Products.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to analyze and develop new programs.
Excellent attention to detail is highly organized, excellent follow-up and strong negotiation skills.
Excellent MS Excel and Word skills required.
A college degree in business is preferred but not required.
We offer a competitive pay and benefit package with relocation.
