Lead Sales Associate

 

The Goodwill Lead Sales Associate is responsible and accountable for operational aspects of the store.  The ideal candidate will be committed to ensuring outstanding service by creating an environment that is focused on providing an experience that exceeds customer expectations. Supports the manager and assistant manager in the day to day aspects of the store.   Establish and maintain superior professional standards in the area of sales, customer service visual presentation, operations, personnel management and development.  Demonstrates and upholds the values and mission of Goodwill.

 

? Accountable for store results to include sales, improving customer transactions, average dollar sales, and customer award program.

? Ensures and excellent level of customer service is maintained and the priority at all times.  The Lead Sales Associate will handle difficult customer service issues and concerns to the satisfaction of the customer.

? Enthusiastically executes sales, promotions, and any contest, while maintaining core business, with total support from staff members.

? Is involved in effective store meetings.

? Responsible for communicating shipment concerns and personel issues in the stores.

? Ensure newly hired employees have reviewed and understand the position and description of the job.

? Train and develop using corporate training materials and the development of high potential employees for promotions.

 

Must have previous Lead Sales or some type of supervisory experience.

Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
