The Sales Manager successfully manages, motivates, and trains a commission sales team to maximize revenue and profitability in a large volume business with superior teamwork and customer service. Maintains in-stock and the highest level of merchandise presentation standards on the salesfloor. Creates the great indoors culture in the business. The Sales Manager works with the Design Center to ensure that all installed or special order sales are handled in a timely and efficient manner.

Qualifications
Duties and Responsibilities:

Creates a customer centric culture with all associates: in-stock, staffing, communication, etc.

Responsible for merchandising and replenishing the salesfloor to the great indoors standards and maintaining stockroom integrity in the assigned areas

Manages hiring, staffing and scheduling of associates to meet business demands

Trains associates on customer service, merchandising, product knowledge and selling skills to grow revenue

Trains associates on selling services: maintenance agreements, installation, credit, delivery, POS

Creates and exhibits a sense of ownership and empowerment in their team
