We currently have an opening for a Logistics Manager at our Stoughton location.Mission:Secure service level goals, efficient low cost goods-flow processes, and logistics competence in the store to strengthen IKEA?s position as the best home furnishing store and the best retailer to work for in your local market by strengthening our Vision and Business IdeaGoals:Secure the logistics competence in the store Ensure implementation of In-Store Logistics the IKEA Way by securing  the Sales/Space/Range relations Monitor and control the order process Ensure efficient goods-flow through the store Develop annual action plan for Logistics and establish controlling tasks to execute Business Plan and Commercial Goals Ensure training and adherence to safety and security routines Develop working knowledge of product range and services Adhere to inventory control procedures Ensure consistent interaction with store management teamProvide visitors with a positive shopping experience by ensuring customer convenience standards are met or exceeded Maintain a clean and organized work environment Attract, develop, and inspire co-workers by realizing the Human Resource Idea to become the best retailer to work for Create an environment where the IKEA Culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers Optimize the recovery of losses and minimize the impact of damages Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as they occur

 You Have: Proven leadership abilities Ability to share your knowledge and learning Excellent communication and training skills Strategic, analytical and tactical abilities Interest and knowledge of home furnishings Ability to build working relationships Highly developed understanding of retail operations Experience with external service providers and solid networking and negotiation skills Computer proficiency Ability to lift 50 lbs. (25kg) as needed 5-7 years retail management experience Someone with the proven ability to:  be a dynamic, action oriented team player that is self-motivated and confident in making independent decisions
