PetsHotel Manager
The PetsHotel Manager will be responsible for the operations of a new premier service offered at PetSmart.  This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all current and potential PetsHotel customers, ensures that all pet parents and guests have a pleasant experience by providing a safe, comfortable, and a fun environment, ensures strict adherence to all PetsHotel policies and procedures.  The PetsHotel Manager is also responsible for creating a professional, visible business relationship with various sectors of the community. 

 

We are looking for candidates with the following qualities:
-Love of animals
-Hands-on management experience
-Experience managing a team of 15-30 people
-Superior customer service skills
-Eager to learn new things
-Flexible, adapt well to change
-Ability to solve problems
-Driven to generate sales
-Budget control experience (payroll, shrink, sales, operating expenses, P & L)
-People management experience (FT/PT mix, staffing, scheduling, counseling, motivating employees)

-2+ years of experience in the restaurant or hotel industry

 

PetsHotel Assistant Manager

This position supports the PetsHotel Manager in all daily operations, such as the supervision of associates; planning, assigning and directing of work; addressing customer complaints and resolving problems. This is a non-exempt (hourly), hands-on management position. You will also be expected to perform the duties of Guest Services Associates and Pet Care Specialists on a daily basis. This includes (but is not limited to) checking pets in/out, selling add-on services and cleaning up after our four-legged guests.

-Love of animals (cats & dogs)
-Superior customer service skills
-Excellent communication skills
-Self-motivated
-Positive attitude
-Eager to learn new things
-Flexible, adapt well to change
-Computer literate
-Willing to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

-Prior management experience is helpful, but is not required. Relocation is not offered for this position.
