STORE MANAGERMaintain Customer Service standards. Maintain all merchandising standards, display presentation, signing standards and monitor inventory levels. Train, develop and communicate with all staff as well as assess performance on a regular basis. Plan daily goals, tasks and assignments. Monitoring sales performance, through the analysis of sales reports and comparison-shopping. Follow all Company policies and procedures. Perform all management responsibilities involving cash/ register procedures, record keeping, networking, interviewing, receiving, store security and payroll. Any other duties as assigned by your District Manager.

Le Gourmet Chef is a unique specialty retailer of kitchenware, gourmet foods and home decorative accessories. The concept for these unique stores is to give the consumer a fun shopping experience by presenting a strong merchandising mix in a multitude of themes for today?s casual home and entertaining environment. This approach to retail, emphasizing home entertaining, has allowed Le Gourmet Chef to successfully rollout over 50 stores within the past several years, with the majority of stores in discount outlet malls. Some stores are also in suburban shopping centers.

This expansion strategy is lead by a team of seasoned management and retail professionals. 

 Tony Castelli

The Executive Vice President in charge of Store Operation, New Store Construction, Human Resources and Loss Prevention.  He is from Casual Corner Group where he was VP of 540 stores with five different divisions also was the VP of Capezio for US Shoe where he was very instrumental in the start up of that division. He has over 25 years of Retail Management experience. He joined the company in 1997.

 Charles Laplaca

Vice President of Supply Chain Operations. He is from Herman?s World of Sporting Goods and has seven years of housewares experience. He joined the company in July 1998.

 

Rich Schaffer Jr.

Rich is the Vice President, Chief Financial Officer.  He worked previously at the Wiz and National Merchants Management Co.  He joined the company in July 1998.

 Joe Bryant

General Merchandise Manager with over nine years experience.  He was previously at Linens & Things and Aisentein & Gordon as the National Sales Director, He joined the company in August 1998.

 

 Chris Green

Chris is the Vice President of Product Development & Merchandising with responsibility for product development and merchandise operations.  He worked previously at Lechters and has 15 years of housewares experience.  He joined the company in 1994 and has helped to guide the concept since the first store.

 

 Susan Johnson ? [West Coast] Regional Manager

Susan joined Le Gourmet Chef June of 2004.  Susan brings over 20 years of retail experience.  Susan?s recent career background includes District and Regional Manager at Mikasa.  At Broadway Southwest Susan played many roles as Buyer, Senior Marketing Manager, and Assistant Store Manager.
