Overview of Position
The Recruitment Manager will source and recruit qualified candidates from a variety of sources to fill open positions within the Herald Square Store.


Key Accountabilities:
Utilize Retailology.com and WFRecruiter and other internet resources (Monster, IMDivesity, Hotjobs, etc.) to source candidates for open positions
Maintain all administrative duties for WFRecruiter
Refer qualified candidates to the appropriate hiring manager for the interview process
Pre-screen potential candidates for job fit, skills and qualifications
Maintain the Macy's Job Bank
Track interview progress of possible candidates and record hire/no-hire decisions, send "not interested" letters
Drive, track and maintain the Macy's Referral Program for Central
Source all competitors' store/corporate closings to develop recruitment relationship
Work with Central HR Directors on present and future Recruitment projects for Macy's and FDS
Find future opportunities for recruitment programs/techniques
Aid in developing retention programs
Assist in the flow of the On-Boarding process for external and internal candidates



Skills Summary
Proficient computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, HTML
Proven Multi-Tasking and Time Management skills
Ability to interact and partner with Macy's East executives and prospective candidates
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
PeopleSoft skills desired
