Manager, Retail Development

We are currently seeking a Manager of Retail Development to join our team. The Manager of Retail Development has the responsibility to enhance and expand Hasbro's core brands through the development of strong retailer relationships that maximize the sale of licensed goods at retail while building strong brand statements for our consumers and retailers. Also, to develop and maintain relationships with internal brand partners and HPG account managers as well as key licensees and retail partners. This position reports to the Director ofRetail Development.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage and execute retail strategies by brand for HPG's core brands.
- Work with brand teams, account managers and licensees to effectively execute retail programs across multiple categories.
- Develop and execute effective marketing and promotional strategies to support retail program.
- Negotiate key business terms with retailers (example exclusive category launch) while balancing the needs of the licensee and the brand.
- Develop relationships with buyers, divisional merchandise managers, senior marketing executives, and promotional planners of designated top 5 retailers per class of trade.
- Develop acute understanding of key retailers positioning/strategies, program requirements, Plan-o-gram set dates, marketing and promotional requirements, and other pertinent information that allows for the development of effective programs.
- Analyze and consolidate retail/brand reports from licensees to leverage individual product success at retail into broader programs.
- Analyze competition (licensors, brands, character licensees, retail brands, etc.) to develop both Hasbro brand strategies and retailer competitive landscape.
- Seek opportunities for bundled products and retailer exclusives for both mass and toy accounts.

To be successful in this role you will require the following:

Education, knowledge and experience required:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or similar
- 3 - 5 years Brand development/Marketing/Sales experience, including experience working with retail partners
- Experience developing and executing annual brand/marketing/sales plans
