Manager in Training   Job Description: Shurgard Self-Storage is looking for Creative, Sales Minded, Problem-Solving Professionals to join our team!

Our Managers in Training will work closely with the District leadership to provide world class and Expect More service to our customers. You'll have "hands-on" involvement with everything from sales and property maintenance, to budgeting, planning and marketing. Your ambition, energy and motivation will help you take advantage of the growth opportunities we offer. 

This exciting opportunity is a multi-site role that is meant to immerse you in our store operations and teach you everything you need to know about Shurgard Self-Storage.  As you grow and develop in this position and meet the performance goals, you will have the potential of ultimately promoting to Store Manager.  
 
The following skills and requirements have been identified as those that would most enable an individual to be successful in this position. Applicants will possess a strong combination of all or most of the skills to be competitive in the selection process.

-Customer service experience with solid sales background
-Cash management required
-Associates/Bachelors Degree preferred
-Valid driver?s license and reliable transportation.
-Ability to work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) and complete a background check (criminal, MVR and credit).
