Primary responsibilities Include:Defining a "retail space" for the DVD rental kiosk that maximizes traffic & awareness Responsible for driving up kiosk awareness, usage and numbers of DVD rental kiosk Driving creative (collateral) development through rigorous testing of creative, messaging, offer, creative, etc. to achieve maximum results Ensures accurate placement of in-store signage and cleanliness Regularly visits stores to observe customer behavior and responses to the marketing campaigns; refining messaging where necessary Managing a field promotions budget, and analyzing & evaluating campaigns to ensure they perform against a cost vs. results matrix Interacting with store managers and employees to gain buy-in and support of marketing campaigns Manages and develops training curriculum for in-store demonstration program Grows and manages department of field marketers

 

 

 

Qualifications8-10 years of Marketing Communications and/or Field Marketing experience, with a minimum of 5 years in consumer products, national grocery, and/or brand management   Broad understanding of marketing and promotional functions: demand generation, messaging, awareness, retail market analysis, sales enablement and channels Experience with marketing campaigns in a retail environment is a must.  Grocery chain experience highly desirable. Proven ability to manage vendors, partners and staff while maintaining successful relationships.  Self-motivated worker who takes initiative and leads organization, out of the box thinker, superior interpersonal skills. Love of movies is a plus. Bachelor's Degree or higher MBA a plus
