JOB SUMMARY:  Working with the Manager, the Marketing Intern provides administrative and project coordination assistance on all marketing projects, promotions and campaigns to ensure achievement of department as well as corporate marketing goals. 

 Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

? Provide administrative and project coordination support assistance for the Division Marketing Manager.

? Coordinate and participate in the development of marketing plan strategy and execution components.

? Develop and build cross- functional relationships with various departments to support the success, growth and efficient functionality of the Marketing Department.

? Assist in the analysis of all projects, promotions and campaign strategies, including summarizing implications and key learnings.

? Coordinate and organize meetings and functions, create and develop data and visual presentations and assist Manager in execution of marketing strategies.

? Observe all S.O.P?s (Standard Operating Policies), including, but not limited to, all safety related practices and procedures

? Provide assistance on grand opening promotions.

? Provide assistance for research on additional business opportunities, technologies and customer needs.

Under regular pressure to meet deadlines, quotas and/or must frequently deal with difficult issues related to people or situations.

 Minimum Qualifications:

? Must be eighteen years of age or older

? Must pass the Drug Test

? Must pass the Background Check

? Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable.

Education Required ? The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor?s degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Physical Job Requirements ? Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about.  On rare occasions there may be a need to more of lift light articles.

 Preferred Qualifications

Bi-Lingual in Spanish, preferred but not required.

? Proficiency in Microsoft Office software products

? Strong organization skills and attention to detail a must

? Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills required

? Prioritization and time management skills required for successful achievement of position goals

? Must be able to handle a high volume of simultaneous responsibilities within a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment

? Must have ability to problem solve, analyze options, think through problems and work around obstacles.

? Must be able to perform successfully in a team-oriented environment.

? Must have strong mathematical abilities for forecasting projects costs and determining variances against budget.

? Typically requires overnight travel 20% to 50% of the time.

? Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs in a physical environment

? Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes

Ability to make repetitive movements including, but not limited to, using a 10-key or calculator, bending, squatting, kneeling, and standing up
