Meat Bakery/Deli Supervisor

Fresh Brands, Home of Piggly Wiggly and Dick?s Piggly Wiggly, is currently looking for a full-time Meat and Bakery/Deli Supervisor to travel between our Piggly Wiggly Supermarkets located in the Milwaukee area!

 

The successful candidate?s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

 Supervise, direct and manage all phases of the assigned store?s bakery/deli and meat departments in a manner designed to obtain maximum sales and margins Control labor, utility and other operating expenses Ensure that the bakery/deli and meat departments meet targeted projections and goals through the effective utilization of personnel and resources available according to company policies and procedures. Observe and maintain all store rules and company policies in assigned stores Implement and adhere to all local, state and federal health and civil code regulations including full compliance with all applicable laws pertaining to safety, health and packaging requirements in all assigned stores Responsible for the assigned store?s bakery/deli and meat departments are compliant with all state, county and local weights, measure laws, and labeling requirements are followed in the departments Responsible for training bakery/deli and meat department managers and employees Responsible for the subordinate supervisors (bakery/deli and meat managers) who supervise the employees within the store?s bakery/deli and meat departments Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the assigned store?s bakery/deli  and meat departments Responsible to assist and supervise new store set-up and resets Responsible to attend, assist, participate, and present programs in district team meetings, promotion sale days, meat merchandising/training seminars and special projects Responsible to research, create, implement, and present new programs, products, and merchandising ideas Responsible for the execution and control of gross profit performance, budgeting, payroll % through labor scheduling, shrink, supply costs, price checks, cutting tests, training responsibilities, and all required merchandising according to Company policies and procedures Responsible to council store owners/managers/bakery/deli and meat managers on bakery/deli and meat operational procedures ;

 

 Candidate must have a valid driver?s license.
