Merchandise Planner

VF Outlet is seeking a  Merchandise Planner  for our division headquarters in Reading, Pennsylvania.

 

VF Outlet is a retail division of VF Corporation, the world's largest apparel manufacturer. VF Outlet operates  seventy eights stores nationwide. We are continuing to grow by opening new stores and remodeling existing stores.  It's a great time to join our team.Some of our brands include Nautica, Lee, Wrangler, JanSport, Eastpak, The North Face, Vanity Fair, Bestform and Lily of France.

 

This position is responsible for developing and executing timely allocation of inventory at the class and store level that will assist in maximizing the sales and profitability of the company financial plan. Additionally, analysis of historical data and trends is required to develop store clusters that will support the buying plan and provide direction on merchandise allocation and mix decisions. Analysis and data will also be required to provide direction to the buying team on product/classification forecasts.

 

VF Outlet is seeking candidates who have had several years of merchandise planning experience in a retail apparel environment. Other requirements include strong analytical and problem solving skills, strong communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, proven attention to detail, strong math aptitude and proficiency in Microsoft Office.  A bachelor's degree is required.
