Merchandiser / Store Service Rep

Seasonal Retail Service is seeking full-time merchandisers/store service reps to work 8-hour service calls in the garden department of a national home center chain throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Regions.  Positions currently available in the Anne Arundel County, Maryland area including, but not limited to, Annapolis, Bowie, Columbia, Glen Burnie, Laurel, Lanham, Upper Marlboro, Waldorf.

 

Summary of Job Responsibilities:

1. Build and Set Merchandising Racks or Displays

2. New Item Placement

3. Special Audits

4. Point of Sale Placement

5. Product Rotation

6. Out of Stock Corrections

7. Replace Shelf Tags

8. Correct Distribution Voids

 

Communication & Reporting Requirements:

Report all merchandising activity as instructed, using handheld electronic device.

Use payroll call-in system.

Project a positive and professional attitude at all times.

Develop professional working relationships with management, store associates and other merchandising company personnel.

 

Physical Demands:

Employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, kneel, crouch, climb and/or balance.  Also regularly required to lift about 50 pounds.

Education/Experience:

High School diploma or general education degree (GED)

Minimum 3 months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

 

Other Additional Requirements:

Must have reliable transportation, as some travel is required, especially during re-sets.

Drug and background screening completed on all new hires.
