Motion Picture Expendable Supply Store: In-Store Sales Associate

Filmtools is the largest motion picture expendable supply store in the San Fernando Valley. We have just moved into a much larger facility and have the need an additional sales associate.

This person must be computer literate and have a practical knowledge of expendable supplies and how those supplies relate to motion picture and television production. Priority will be given to individuals who have worked in Movie, TV, or Video production, with an emphasis towards camera, grip, or electrical backgrounds.

Please do not apply if you are looking to "get into the movie business", this job is not for you. However if you are in the business and are tired of traveling and long hours, this might be the right job for you.

Responsibilities: Assist customers with their purchases, both in the store and over the phone. Use the computer to create sales orders and receipts,  accept tender and give change, answer sales related email, and conduct customer returns.

Side work includes stocking shelves, assist in keeping the store and facilities clean.

Filmtools offers basic medial benefits after six months of full-time employment and vacation pay after one year.
