PetSmart, the nation's leading retail supplier of products, services and solutions for pets and their families, is currently seeking candidates for Salon Managers, experienced PetStylists, Professional Bathers and Pet Trainers.

 Professional Bathers will:

 

-  Bathe, brush and dry dogs that are not getting a full service groom. 

-  Ensure that all Grooming Salon safety standards are followed and maintain the 

  salon appearance by cleaning during down times.

- Clean ears, clip nails, and perform other needed services

-  Provide exceptional customer service to pets and their pet parents.  Help each pet parent identify their pet's individual needs and provide them with a solution.

-  Answer phones to book appointment and check-in dogs.

 

Qualification:

We offer great training so, no experience is necessary to become a Professional Bather.  There is an opportunity for successful bathers to train to become a petstylist through our Grooming Academies.  As well, you must be able to work flexible hours (including evenings, week-ends and some holidays.)

 

PetStylists will:

 

-  Ensure all grooming salon safety standards are followed

-  Groom all dogs to customer?s satisfaction

-  Provide exceptional customer service to the pet and pet parent

-  Maintain salon appearance by regular cleaning

 

Qualifications:

 To be a successful PetStylist at PetSmart, you must be able to demonstrate knowledge in the grooming industry and be able to pass a grooming technical skill evaluation.  You must be able to work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends and some Holidays).

 

Salon Managers will:

 

-  Manage all aspects of the Grooming Salon operations with in the store

-  Be responsible for hiring, training/developing and managing a staff of 5 or more (prior management experience is preferred)

-  Be able to groom all breeds to standard

-  Will earn 60% commission on dogs they groom and participate in 2 bonus programs.

-  Participate in various bonus programs

 

Qualification:

Salon Manages must have at least two years of professional grooming experience. Previous manager experience will be helpful. You must be able to work flexible hours (including nights, week-ends and some holidays).


Pet Training Instructors will:

-  Be able to speak in front of large groups

-  Love to sell

-  Have an outgoing personality

-  Enjoy work with pets and people

-  Be able to work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends, and some holidays)

 

Our Pet Training Instructors earn an hourly wage plus commission so it is essential that you excel at approaching customers and closing sales.

 

Qualification:

 

No experience is necessary.  We will teach you how to train by placing you into our Pet Training Instructor Accreditation program.
