National Direct Account Executive-Toledo, OH

TOLEDO, OH AREA This position is responsible for achieving sales goals in the National Distribution Channel through direct observation and training, competitive intelligence gathering and analysis, develop and implements sales training programs specific to each location, development and maintenance of positive, supportive working relationships with national retailers. Meet and exceed strategic sales objectives for assigned accounts. Foster and develop key relationships with Store Managers and Department Managers to ensure company is top-of-mind with them in their sales planning process. Conduct effective marketing and sales training presentations. Conduct regular sales meetings with assigned accounts sales representatives and managers. Focus on increasing revenue. Develop and maintain supportive relationships with existing accounts to meet sales objectives. Provide timely, up to date assessment of local competitive promotions, rate plans and coverage areas.

Base Salary: $27,000-44,000, depending on experience, plus commissions and a full, comprehensive benefits package. Position may require overnight travel throughout the Northern Ohio market. Although based in Toledo area, the incumbent will report to the Northern Ohio office located in Cleveland.


QUALIFICATIONS

Candidate must possess excellent customer service and sales skills. Great communication and follow-up skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships are essential as well. Retail sales background required. Sales coaching/account management experience preferred. Must be highly computer proficient.

This is a driving position within the Northern Ohio market, so a clean driving record is required. Ability to travel. Valid driver?s license, current auto insurance, and reliable vehicle per transportation needs of market. MVR check.
