National Retail Sales Manager

My client seeks a National Retail Sales Manager to oversee a company-owned chain of 21 North American retail store locations, offering a unique mix of make-up, skin care, fragrance, shower, spa, and gift products to consumers.

This position presents the ideal candidate with a unique opportunity to apply their assertiveness and sales leadership prowess in a small yet extremely successful organization that leverages a sophisticated multi-channel distribution strategy. This position owns all aspects of the Retail Sales process, including:
? Identification, communication, and measurement of revenue goals
? Development and execution of in-store sales promotions
? Hands-on recruitment, training (with Director of Sales Education), and mentoring of store staff
? Merchandising and store presentation
? Competitive analysis and market opportunity identification
? Creation and implementation of policies and procedures

The National Retails Sales Manager will collaborate extensively with other departments, including marketing, visual merchandising, and customer support.

Requirements include:
? A minimum of 10 years retail management experience with at least 5 years at the district/regional level, preferably in the health & beauty market segment
? Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
? A Bachelor's degree
? MS Office proficiency specifically in Excel in also required.
? Position is based in Chicago, with 50% travel outside of the Chicago area.
