New Store Coordinator

Support Distribution, Store Operations, Visual Merchandising, and the Williams-Sonoma Retail field organization to drive successful Williams-Sonoma store openings, remodels, and relocations. Liaise between Distribution Team, Distribution Centers, and stores to manage execution of a range of internal processes. Distribution responsibility for allocating Furniture to new and existing stores. Additional responsibilities include analysis and reporting related to the implementation of a new sales and inventory management platform as well as the development of a Store Planning strategy for Williams-Sonoma Retail. Position newly reports to Sr. Store Planner. Growth opportunity within a dynamic organization.

Major Responsibilities Manage New Store Process Maintain Calendar for New, Remodeled, Relocated and Closing Stores Create ?Rap? sheet for each new store and distribute to Distribution Team Work with DC to confirm allocation deadlines for each new store Determine copy stores for sales and profiles. Load this info into allocation system Create out-of-stock list after last allocation cutoff, distribute to team, manage action needed Attend Store Operations Conference Call for each new store Work with Field, Store Ops, Visual Merchandising, Distribution teams to resolve any new store issues Report store opening sales results and suggest any changes needed to inventory levels Compare forecast and actual sales results and recommend adjustments as needed Visual: Create and publish Picklist for each visual packet following visual calendar deadlines Communicate floorset date for each visual packet to DC Manage Perimeter and Fixture Database Manage Priority Hold list and communication Maintain accuracy of Location Traits and Lists in BP RDW Manage weekly Top Store Support Program file updates Manage Furniture allocations for New Stores from DC and ECDC Backup management of daily store backorders for DPs as needed Manage weekly Cycle Count SKU lists. Work with Merchant, Control Buying and Distribution teams to choose 10 SKUs each week for store to count. Communicate list to Supply Chain and Store Ops Compile and communicate UPS recaps for Distribution and DC Performance various store performance analysis and reporting as needed

Minimum Qualifications: Possess a clear understanding of retail inventory and financial measurements and how to impact them Proven analytical skills with the ability to solve problems creatively and achieve consensus Proven history of building analytical models and summarizing resulting data Statistical and quantitative business acumen required Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with cross-functional teams Ability to provide excellent customer service Ability to multiple and changing priorities Bachelor?s degree required
