-OPERATIONS MANAGER


(minimum requirements: 3-5+ years retail management experience with STRONG administration/HR/recruiting/LP/cash office exp. in a big box retail environment)

As the Operations Manager, your primary focus will be the associates within the store. You?ll be responsible for completing the hiring process and ensuring all associates are trained and developed. You?ll also work with the management team to ensure the store is properly stocked and maintained. This position reports directly to the Store Manager.

 

Essential Job Functions:

- Ensuring the health and safety of the pets in our care

- Implement PETsMART hiring process

- Develop your team: Coaching, Training, Performance Reviews, etc.

- Process associate paperwork

- Responsible for all payroll related activities

- Ensure management team has proper tools to achieve expected results

- Ensure Positive Customer Experience

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL CANDIDATES:
* Successful experience in similar retail management role applying for
* A passion for pets & people to provide the BEST customer service
* A solid track record in recruiting, developing, motivating & leading a diverse team
to success
* Ability to drive sales, profitability and business goals
