Operations Supervisor

Peapod, an interactive, online grocery shopping/delivery service, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Royal Ahold and a partner with Ahold USA supermarket companies. We presently seek enthusiastic candidates for opportunities in our Fresh Markets and Non-Perishable areas in our Lake Zurich IL Distribution Center.

Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities will include:
Work with a team of supervisors to ensure smooth and efficient operation of our 3rd shift team through supervising staff
Must be comfortable supervising 40-50 employees
Identify and address critical operational issues within the shift
Work with Peapod personnel to ensure communication between departments
Track and coach employees on productivity and quality measurements
Track and follow up on attendance and punctuality
Handle administrative duties in a prompt and efficient manner
Train and develop our staff

Qualifications:
Basic PC skills (Word and Excel)
Understanding of WMS (Warehouse Management System) programs
Excellent communication skills
Drive high productivity and accuracy
Must be able to multitask
Flexibility in work schedule based on volume and trends
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Ability to work autonomously
Prudently interview applicants for the fulfillment department
Ability to work autonomously
Strong leadership skills
A desire to help Peapod continue to grow and improve!
Work schedule will include weekends & three days during the week - 10pm-7am
