Naartjie Kid's is a young and exciting San Francisco based specialty retail company that designs and retails it's own line of kid friendly, fashionable children's clothes and accessories. In addition to stores in California, Oregon, Arizona and Utah, Naartjie has 16 stores in South Africa. Our award-winning Cape Town Design Team provides  unique and distinctive fashion direction and inspiration creating comfortable and innovative designed apparel for newborns through age 9 years.  Naartjie's exclusive fashions, accessories and footwear are made of natural fabrics, are all garment dyed and pre-washed and designed for the ultimate in mix-and-match. As we continue to expand and grow, we are looking for inspired, talented team members who love children, have a strong desire to learn and grow, and contribute to the success of a uniquely new retail concept.

Key Position Responsibilities:

Under the direction of, and in coordination with, the Store Manager provides support and direction necessary to drive sales and achieve store financial goals and performance objectives. Facilitates in team development objectives, merchandising direction, establishing operational controls and developing consistent standards of customer service. Assists in selection, hiring, training and retention of quality associates through sound human resource processes and disciplines. May directly supervise up to 6 or more associates.

Previous retail experiance in a full time position of responsibility is prefered, with some experiance in Specialty Retail beneficial.
