Strategy and Customer Insights, Director of Performance Measurement
This position is a vital member of the Customer Strategy and Insights group, helping lead Performance Measurement at Sears. Performance Measurement is a new group at Sears charged with implementing a "test and learn" culture throughout the Sears organization. Specifically, the group will design and facilitate all retail and marketing tests at Sears and Kmart. The Director position is primarily responsible partnering with the strategy group and functional areas of the company to design tests, review results, optimize processes and drive change.

Key Responsibilities
This position reports to the Executive Vice-President, Strategy and Customer Insights. This position requires a skilled leader with strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to work well with cross-functional teams across the organization solving complex problems.

Lead test design, execution and analysis within Sears Holdings
Develop partnerships across the businesses and functional areas of the organization
Provide leadership and training: Identify and develop a strong team to deliver on organization goals
Benchmark best practices for a "test and learn" environment
Develop meaningful metrics for evaluating initiatives
Conduct tests and translate results into insights for better business decisions
Provide recommendations for action based on business knowledge and analytical expertise
Prioritize opportunities to maximize value (EBITDA, GM$, ROI) based on analysis and test results
Prepares and presents recommendations for senior management
Fosters teamwork and works well in a collaborative team environment

Requirements
Strong leadership and analytical skills
Experience and expertise with financial, statistical, and marketing concepts
Experience and expertise with research/test design
Ability to manage deadlines and deliverables for multiple projects
Active curiosity--Must be enjoy gathering and digging deeply into data to identify issues, patterns and solve problems
Strong work ethic complemented by a positive, can-do, attitude
Excellent communication skills: Listening, verbal and written
Project planning and management skills
Highly skilled in problem solving and managing priorities
Proficient with analytical and presentation software: Excel, PowerPoint, Access
6-10 years professional experience in: Customer relationship management, management consulting, retail, finance, investment banking or strategic analysis
Bachelors degree from four year college or university; MBA preferred
