PetSmart, the nation's leading retail supplier of products, services and solutions for pets and their families, is currently seeking candidates for our PetsHotel in Whittier, CA.

 

We?re currently seeking candidates who enjoy working in a team environment, able to work flexible hours, have strong retail experience, and strive to delight our customers.

 

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

?  Oversees all departments (Guest Services, Pet Care, and Night Pet Care); ensures there is proper staffing and all systems are working properly.

?  Ensures the principles and promises are understood and practiced by every associate.

?  Provides feedback to the PetsHotel Manager.

?  Assists the Managers in creating and maintaining a synergy between the store and PetsHotel.

?  Ensures the safety and security of guests, Pet Parents, and associates by following all policies and procedures.

?  Follows the policies and procedures in the event of an injury or emergency.

?  Delivers 100% customer service satisfaction.

?  Demonstrates a proactive stance in marketing to the customer base, as well as potential customers.

?  Handles customer concerns and complaints.

?  Covers shifts as Guest Services Associate, Pet Care Specialist, or Night Pet Care Specialist.

 

Qualifications:

Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

?  Must love animals

?  Must be customer focused

?  Must be a team player

?  Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks

?  Able to demonstrate the ability to multi-task.

?  Ability to demonstrate advanced customer service skills.

?  Ability to communicate effectively and handle challenging situations.

?  Ability to provide consistent unleashed quality service to the Pet Parents.

?  Ability to demonstrate general computer knowledge and/or data entry skills.
