We currently have an opening for a Planning Manager at our Headquarter Office.  The successful candidate will have 7+ years of Planning experience with a focus on the following:

 

o Responsible for the development of the monthly Open-To-Buy and Seasonal/Annual Plans that support specific merchandise strategies, as well as order writing and inventory planning. 

o Partners with the Merchandise Manager in validating merchandise assortments, implementing new merchandise initiatives, and developing action plans for aged/discontinued merchandise in order to achieve sales, gross margin, and inventory turnover plans. 

o Ability to develop and motivate direct reports and ensure that team is continually working towards achievement of goals and objectives.

o Well rounded systems background to include experience working with retail automatic replenishment systems and advanced knowledge of sophisticated Excel models.

o Experience dealing with direct sourcing programs and an understanding of logistical impacts preferred.
