Plannogrammer

Job Summary   The Planogrammer supports performance objectives by helping translate the store merchandising vision into optimal store merchandise layouts and visual presentations. The Planogrammer creates and maintains JDA Intercept Space Management System planograms that communicate merchandising direction to field operations, including obtaining needed layout information from appropriate Merchandising team members. The Planogrammer supports Merchandising decision-making by participating in line reviews, as well as creating, monitoring and communicating monthly feature space planograms (e.g., endcaps, sidecaps, etc).  The planogrammer also helps in determining  preliminary MSS facings for all product.

 

Requirements

 

Education: College Degree or commensurate retail experience.

 

Experience in retail industry in store merchandising/space planning/store operations is a plus.


Pre-requisite Skills:  Financial analysis and quantitative skills, including ability to conduct sales analysis and other analytical techniques to assist key Merchandising decisions? Collaborative with effective interpersonal skills; able to work across departments to obtain needed layout-related information? Communication skills; capable of communicating results of monthly feature space planograms, etc. to support space and merchandising planning? Quality focused; creates timely deliverables with a high degree of accuracy and clarity; strong attention to detail? Familiar with merchandising concepts; understands the relationship between product adjacencies, store layout, and guest shopping behaviors in creating impactful in-store presentations? Knowledge of retail industry is preferred; familiarity with area product lines and core customer behavior is beneficial.
