Job Opening: Procurement Analyst

Job Responsibilities: Identify and manage slow-moving, excess and dead inventory Maintain a 96-97% service level for the daily on-line replenishment of assigned SKUs Demonstrate strong negotiating skills in the maximization of marketing funds, accrual programs, truckload buys, invoice protection, extended terms and new item introductions Develop an aggressive approach to meeting weekly departmental budgets and gross margin ?NEED? assignments Process purchase orders as necessary Build and maintain strong relationships with all assigned vendors and brokers

Job Requirements: Bachelor?s degree or equivalent work experience is preferred. 2 years of procurement experience, preferably in GM/HBC. Wholesale distribution knowledge a plus. Communication skills Must be able to Multi-Task Problem Solving skills Organizational Skills Demonstrated ability to work as a team member in a dynamic environment is essential.
