Promotional Pricing Administrator

We currently have an opening for a Promotional Pricing Administrator at our corporate office located in Northwest Phoenix. The Promotional Pricing Administrator is responsible for preparing promotional pricing shells for promotional price changes at store level. In addition to preparing the pricing shells, this position will work with merchandise and operations to effectively communicate the number/reason for the price changes as well as assist in the analysis of the promotional pricing effectiveness

Other Duties will include:

Working with pricing analysts and coordinators to ensure flawless execution of both promotional and long term price change shells. In addition, a thorough understanding of how pricing shells work within SAP and an ability to communicate the changes and timing with merchandise/marketing/operations. Ensures that price shells and price changes accurately arrive at the store level. Manages price change volume through consistent and open communication with operations and merchandise. Helps ensure that system capabilities match up with merchandise plans for price change volume. Assists in ensuring data integrity of price shells and their interface with the price optimization software. Communicates consistently with field personnel to solve any issues regarding promotional as well as long term price changes. Assist finance/business analysts in determining promotional effectiveness. Interacts with the accounting department to ensure TPR dollars are accurately accounted for. Gathers data in a qualitative and quantitative fashion regarding promotional activity to assist finance/business analysts. Continuously improves the methodology for executing promotional pricing activity within merchandise and at store level. Interacts on a regular basis with IS, merchandise, and operations to ensure flawless execution of price changes. Prepares ad hoc analysis on promotional pricing activity


 

Bachelor's degree in Economics or Business from four-year college or university and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Retail experience preferred. Must also have the ability to demonstrate strong analytical skill set, knowledge of advertising, marketing and merchandising, desire to learn SAP as well as Access and Excel.
