We're looking for an inspirational leader to plan and direct activities for 150-200 small stores, and have full P&L responsibility. Six to ten District Managers report to this position. If you have held a position with similar responsibilities and volume, please apply.





Preferred qualifications:

 Bachelor's degree with min. 4+ years of successful multi-unit experience with full P&L responsibility at a level comparable to this
position. Minimum 7+ years of retail with full P&L experience in discount retail, C-store or grocery environment. Very strong financial analysis skills to interpret operating statements, and other financial reports, manage large budgets, and
control inventory. Demonstrated ability to produce results by leveraging resources, maintaining tough expense control, managing merchandise effectively, and setting clear expectations. The ability to foster Dollar General Values at all levels. Track record of fair administration of Human Resource policies and total development of human capital. Demonstrated strong interpersonal and collaboration skills. Outstanding verbal, written and technical communication skills. Fluency in both English and Spanish a plus. (English required.)
