RETAIL PRODUCT MANAGER

 

Levenger is a national multi-channel company specializing in unique products for the enjoyment of reading, writing, and working with ideas. 

 

Reporting directly to the General Manager of Retail, this position is responsible for coordinating and ensuring product availability and distribution to all retail stores. This includes coordinating all aspects of retail product including in-stock requirements, replenishment, identifying and reporting slow and top sellers, and identifying product sales metrics to visual presentation. 

 

Qualifications/skills:

?  Minimum 2-3 years? combined retail, merchandising and inventory experience. 

?  Visual merchandising, product presentation experience helpful.

?  Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word and advanced Excel. 

?  Degree in related field or combination education and experience.

?  Strong inter-personal and excellent customer service skills, decision-making ability, and sound business judgment.

 

Essential responsibilities of this position include:

?  Communicate with merchandising department to identify key products for each store based on sales analysis, store location, etc., and recommend reorder quantities and mark downs.

?Assist in determining and executing marketing opportunities, and signage programs such as banners, features benefits and product images, by store location.

?  Analyze inventory, determine product placement and manage distribution to all stores.

?  Measure performance of products in all stores and communicate daily with all stores to ensure product information is available.

?  Assist in planning and opening new stores, including visual presentation, product assortment, logistics, set up, and training.

?Occasional travel to Levenger stores to assist with new store openings, inventory and operations.
