OVERALL OBJECTIVES
Manage fiscal ship budgets. Margin exposure - sales targets, mdva needs, on order cancels, rtvs, off price shipments etc? Core - execute ship, buy & sell projections by SKU Review product assortment Available to Sell - manage in season available inventory and methods of liquidating Compile long term strategies and monitor progress Prioritize incoming inventory and divisional ship expectations (warehouse partnership) Analyze & develop internal budgets for business expenses (i.e. air freight, hangers, pre-packs) Chargeback reserve analysis


INVENTORY
Manage approx 400 sku's in core Review classification/style buys (approx 1,900 sku's) Analyze all door needs & sku counts Assess integration of Core & Non-Core planned product mix Examine history, current and future monthly receipt flows


BUSINESS
Review financial impact of decisions at the divisional level Oversee Ship/Buy/Sell Budgets with the divisions and review requirements to achieve budgets Analyze warehouse inventory availability and recommend OFP strategies and areas of distribution Review and approve all completed MDVA request forms (must be submitted with supporting data & standard template) Assess retail and wholesale price points in reference to future strategy and margins Evaluate cancellations, RTV's and in season discounted orders Review open to buys

 

$80,000-$100,000 + Bonus! 

 

Job Requirements:

 CANDIDATES MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE AS WHOLESALE / RETAIL PLANNER OR ASSISTANT BUYER, BUYER AT AT BRIDGE, DESIGNER, or LUXURY PRICEPOINTS. Candidates who have been successfully employed by this client or have had previous employment experience at Saks Fifth Avenue, Barneys, Ann Taylor, Bloomingdale's, Gucci, Chanel, Burberry, Neiman Marcus, or similar luxury organizations. Luxury goods background and working with high price points essential Experience working with MEN?S and/or WOMEN?S apparel, footwear, and/or accessories Strong leadership skills Detail oriented and strong work ethics Ability to work in a high volume, highly visible area.
