The ideal account executive will be someone articulate, driven, persistent and high-energy, with a positive “won’t take no for an answer” attitude. We’re looking for someone willing to rise to the challenge of becoming an executive search authority in the retail and wholesale industries. As an AE, you will develop new business by generating new job leads and expanding our extensive roster of clients. In addition to securing new search assignments, you will fill these open positions by recruiting and presenting top talent in the industry. You will network with the finest candidates in retail and wholesale to help companies find the great talent they need and help people get new life-enhancing career opportunities. The process includes research, writing presentations, prepping/debriefing candidates, reference checking, but mostly involves just talking to (potential) clients and candidates getting to know them and helping to match them up. In-depth training will be provided to develop these and other vital skills required for excellence. You will learn the MRI secrets of recruiting developed over 40 years that have made us the most successful search firm in the world.


You can make great money in this position. The earning potential for an Account Executive is virtually limitless, as you develop your own business and fill those positions and commission structure is very compelling. The more time you put in and the better you are, the better your earnings will be. A successful Account Executive at MRI makes between $65-$200k total compensation during the first year, and significantly more in the next year.


 The ideal candidate will have: -3+ years in the retail or wholesale industries -Strong ability to persuade, market, and sell -Be diligent and ambitious with a serious work ethic -Excellent writing ability and speaking voice -PC skills (Typing, Word, Excel, Database, Internet) -Phone experience a plus -Excellent organization skills -Motivated to make a lot of $$ and ability do what it takes to succeed.
