Regional Kiosk Manager - IL

The Glass Gallery is a seasonal retailer of blown glass gifts.  In 2005, we operated 174 kiosks in malls in 30 states.  Our Regional Managers supervise geographic clusters of kiosks in the malls during the months of November and December.  This position is only active from September through early January.

 

We need a manager for 5 kiosks in the central Illinois region...

Must be able to work any hours and be away from home for extended periods of time.  Hiring and retail management experience is required.  Must have a clean driving record.  A background check will be performed. Experience driving 3-axle truck is preferred but not necessary.

 

In September, the Regional Manager travels to our home office in St. Louis for extensive training.

 

In October, the RM travels to the malls on his/her route to interview applicants and hire temporary, part time sales associates to work in our kiosks.  (Applicant leads are supplied).

 

In November, during the first 3 weeks of the month, the RM will assist in the set-up of the kiosks and train the the sales associates on store procedures. 

 

Once open, the RM oversees the schedules and daily operations of the kiosks in the region.  He/she hires and trains additional sales associates as necessary.  The RM also audits the closing paperwork of the employees in the region.

 

All travel expenses are paid.  This is a challenging position with excellent pay and an opportunity to earn a Great bonus based on sales in the region!
