Retail Area Coordinator

Role : Ticketmaster is currently looking for a Retail Area Coordinator to join a progressive high-energy team.  This position will provide a high level of customer and client service to all Ticket Centers within the designated market area. This position?s primary responsibility is to manage all aspects of Ticketmaster?s relationship with its retail partners at the local level and also with the Ticket Center Support Center. Emphasis will be placed on the ability to establish professional relationships with all Retail Ticket Center personnel as well as management at local, district and/or regional levels.

 

 

Functions:

? Conducting visits at designated retail outlets throughout the area to perform physical ticket stock inventories answer questions (regarding the TM System/PCI, events currently on sale or soon to be on sale, special promotions, facility/venues inquiries) and resolve ticketing issues; check for signage; train new employees on the use of the system and provide ongoing supplemental training as necessary. Percentage of time required: 70%.

? Must meet deadlines with regard to required reports, especially those concerning ticket center progress (visits, sales, training, stock usage, schedules, etc.) Percentage of time required: 10%.

? Handling customer issues; completing daily office tasks such as mailing out ticket stock and preparing outgoing mail. Percentage of time required: 8%.

? Interacting with other Ticketmaster departments. Some examples of this interaction are: Client Services/Event Programming to discuss major on-sales, special ticket types, discount programs, etc.; Promotion and Marketing to help identify marketing and promotional opportunities; IT to coordinate software or hardware issues; General Manger/Regional TC Director regarding ticket sales, contract terms, etc.; and Accounting to coordinate Letters of Credit renewals and settlements. Percentage of time required: 5%.

? Tracking and maintaining Ticket Center contracts, Letters of Credit and overall sales. On the average, there are twenty or more contracts per area. Percentage of time required: 5%.

? May be involved in contract presentations with potential new retail outlets. This could take the form of explaining the provisions contained in the contracts and discussing the interaction/responsibilities of Ticketmaster and the Retail Ticket Center. Percentage of time required: 2%.

? Other duties as assigned.
