Retail Area Manager

Columbia Lending provides short-term loans to qualified borrowers. We are seeking an enthusiastic Area Manager to manage locations in Richland, Sunnyside, and Walla Walla.

?

Area Managers provide leadership and guidance to stores in order to ensure that sales and profit goals are achieved. This position is responsible for the financial and operational success for an area of three stores.? The ideal candidate will have experience interacting with various levels of employees and management, hiring and termination procedures, disciplinary issues, performance reviews, store security and store operations.? This position reports to the Director of Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

?Recruit, train, and develop store managementProvide coaching and counseling to store management on personnel issues, problem solving, and conflict resolutionConduct regular audits of cash systems and store paperwork to ensure proper procedures and controls are in place and observed according to company policiesMaintain a customer service, sales-focused atmosphere by providing leadership and motivation to all store personnelResolve all customer service complaintsComplete performance evaluations and merit increase recommendations for all store managersEnsure facility, fixtures, equipment, and inventory are maintained for the most favorable operations and appearanceResponsible for all store advertising, promotions, mailings

Requirements:

?Candidate must be a proven multi-store sales leader with solid recruiting, training and development skillsMust possess 3 to 5 years management experience in a retail environment or working with the publicExcellent communication and leadership skillsMust have a basic understanding of computers and networksMust work all hours of operation (M-F 9-6, Saturday 9-6)
