Staples’ Assistant Mangers are responsible for supporting and executing our Easy Brand Promise by:

 

? Demonstrating and reinforcing the behaviors that make every shopping experience ?Easy? for our customers.

? Fostering a sales culture to enhance customer service and drive sales using available tools and training.

? Efficiently managing all operational functions including receiving/back room, inventory, merchandising and store maintenance.

? Effectively managing sales and profitability of assigned departments.

? Actively maintaining a team approach in the day-to-day management of store associates.

 

The most qualified candidates for this position have the following skills and experience:

 

? A minimum of 2 - 4 years sales and supervisory experience in a retail environment.

? Strong leadership skills.

? Excellent communication and customer service skills.

? Ability to drive sales in a customer service focused environment.
