This organization is growing at a very fast pace within all areas of their company. The individual they are looking for must have previous experience in Boys, Mens, or Childrens area.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic input in the overall direction of assigned sub-divisions
Develop merchandise assortment plans, and monitor and adjust plan to trend
Integrate brand, sourcing, marketing, and supply chain functions
Identify and maximize promotional and marketing strategies
Work with product development, sourcing, and design teams to increase market share of category
Partner with Planning and Allocation to ensure all performance objectives are met
Negotiate with vendors
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
· College or equivalent business experience
· 5 to 10+ years experience as either a Buyer or Sr. Buyer with a major retail organization
